The app is compatible with iPhone, iPad and Android devices. *“The Nation’s Health* has long been a leader in providing the latest news and information to public health professionals,” said Michele Late, executive editor of *The Nation’s Health*. “We’re pleased to provide a new way for readers to access that information.” The app, which can be downloaded now, is free for APHA members and subscribers of *The Nation’s Health.* For a limited time, however, the app can be downloaded and accessed by anyone — no password or login needed. The new app provides mobile access to newspaper content as full-page, expandable images or as individual text articles. Users can read issues online or download them to their mobile devices to access the content anytime. *The Nation’s Health* app includes live links, so that readers can go directly to websites mentioned in news stories or advertisements. The app also allows users to email stories from the newspaper to friends and colleagues and bookmark content they want to revisit later. The new app adds to the growing range of formats available for *The Nation’s Health,* which has been published by APHA since 1970. The newspaper has a print edition that is mailed to APHA members and subscribers, a website with online-only news, an email newsletter and a Twitter account, @nationshealth. Web users can also follow feeds from *The Nation’s Health* or sign up to receive email alerts when new content is posted. “As the way people access news continues to change, *The Nation’s Health* is keeping pace with demand from our readers,” Late said. “Public health professionals need to have access to information wherever they are. We’ll continue to respond to what they need as technology changes and develops.” *The Nation’s Health* app is not the first to be available through APHA.
