## Chronic leukemia

The National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship’s “Cancer Survival Toolbox” is a free audio program designed to help people with chronic lymphocytic leukemia or chronic myelogenous leukemia meet the challenges of their illness. The program covers basic skills such as finding information, making decisions, negotiating and standing up for rights as well as special topics such as end-of-life care and caring for the caregiver. ## Risk and reproduction

The ways notions of risk and risk management permeate women’s experience with reproduction are at the heart of a recently published book from Vanderbilt University Press. “Risk, Reproduction and Narratives of Experience,” was co-edited by Lauren Fordyce and Amínata Maraesa and examines how local understandings of risk intersect with larger debates about maternal and child health, nationalized reproductive policy and international public health mandates and trainings programs. ## Sports injuries among teens

“Sports Injuries Information for Teens, Third Edition,” is designed as a comprehensive, fact-based guide to being a healthy athlete. ## Emergency services

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration in May launched a redesigned [www.EMS.gov](http://www.EMS.gov) website to better serve first responders and the health care community. The new site includes enhanced features to enable emergency medical services professionals as well as federal, state and local agencies to access the latest professional news, education programming, events projects and other information.

## Breast cancer

The “Breast Cancer Sourcebook, Fourth Edition” includes updated information about breast cancer and its causes, risk factors, diagnosis and treatment. The book covers common breast cancer treatment complications, information on preventive therapies, nutrition and exercise information and tips on living with cancer, among other topics. ## Chest health

## E-prescribing

Two toolsets for supporting electronic prescribing implementation are now available for the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality. The toolsets, one for physicians in small practices and one for independent pharmacies, were designed to offer a step-by-step guide for preparing for and launching an electronic prescribing, or e-prescribing, system.
