The website complies data and research on gun violence, as well as evidence-based recommendations for addressing it. The free Heroes Health app gives users access to weekly self-assessments and generates summary reports to help workers evaluate and care for their mental health. Edited by Dean Halkitis, MS, MPH, PhD, the journal focuses on the health of sexual and gender minority populations. It aims to bring together scholarship from multiple disciplines to enhance the health and well-being of LGBTQ individuals. The curriculum can be tailored to the needs of different health departments, allowing users to combine training techniques from partners such as Johns Hopkins University and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, among others. The fact sheets, which are available in 15 languages, provide information on symptoms and protective measures. The bottom portion of the fact sheets is blank, allowing health departments to fill the space with their own contact information.
