Previously, Etienne served as assistant director-general for health systems and services at the World Health Organization and as assistant director of PAHO from 2003 to 2008, during which time she led the organization in areas such as family and community health as well as sustainable development and environmental health. Etienne currently serves as APHA’s honorary vice president for Latin America and the Caribbean. ER -
