Letters to the editor
The Nation’s Health accepts letters to the editor, with the following stipulations:
• Letters to the editor may be no longer than 300 words and may be edited for length and clarity.
• Letters must include a daytime telephone number and mailing address information. Letters that are mailed must be signed; e-mailed letters must be sent from a valid e-mail address personally associated with the letter author.
• Letters must be original and cannot duplicate material that has been published elsewhere.
• The Nation's Health does not accept letters that are personal attacks, obscene or can potentially be defamatory or libelous.
• As policy, letters to the editors printed in The Nation's Health must have a single author only (multiple authors or "sign-ons" will not be acknowledged).
• If published, all letters become the property of The Nation’s Health.

Article submissions
All news articles in The Nation’s Health are researched and written by The Nation’s Health reporting staff. As such, we do not accept articles from other authors, bylined or otherwise. However, The Nation's Health accepts both story ideas and news releases, which may be sent to us via e-mail.
