NORC at the University of Chicago and the Appalachian Regional Commission released the Appalachian Overdose Mapping tool. The data visualization tool allows users to look at opioid overdose mortality rates in the Appalachian region of the U.S. by county in relation to socio-economic factors, including unemployment, poverty, education and disability.
