  • You participated in an August Grand Rounds at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that featured presentations on HIV prevention, surveillance and allocation of prevention resources. Are these three of the most key areas in HIV/AIDS right now?
  • As you said earlier this year, “the Affordable Care Act has already provided millions of Americans increased access to HIV testing and will extend coverage to 30 million more Americans, including tens of thousands of people living with HIV.” How important is continued implementation of the Affordable Care Act to the implementation of the National HIV/AIDS Strategy?
  • The goals of the National HIV/AIDS Strategy are to reduce HIV incidence, increase access to care and optimize health outcomes and to reduce HIV-related health disparities. How can the public health community support these goals?
  • Conversations about HIV/AIDS seem to focus either on global or domestic efforts. Is it a challenge to address the epidemic on both fronts?
  • Do stigma and discrimination still pose formidable barriers when it comes to HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment?
